Test and Clean Fuel Injectors Without Removing Them From the Engine.
A faulty or dirty fuel injector causes rough idle, poor fuel economy, and misfires — but replacing injectors without testing them first is an expensive guess. This tester and cleaner kit lets you activate each injector individually, check its operation, and flush it with cleaner fluid, all while it's still on the engine.
- ✓ 4 pulse modes — continuous, short, medium, and long — to test injector response and spray pattern
- ✓ Simulates real engine signals so the injector opens and closes as it would during normal operation
- ✓ Includes 4 cleaning adapters for on-engine injector flushing without removal
Why Injector Diagnosis Is Guesswork Without a Tester
Rough idle, hesitation, and poor fuel economy can all point to a dirty or faulty injector — but so can a dozen other things. Without a way to activate and observe each injector individually, you're either replacing parts on a guess or paying a workshop to run a diagnostic. This tester gives you a direct way to check each injector's operation before spending money on replacements.
Connect. Pulse. Diagnose.
Connect the battery clamps to your 12V battery, attach the test leads to the injector connector, select your pulse mode, and press the pulse button. The tester sends a signal that opens the injector — you can hear the click and observe the spray. For cleaning, connect the cleaning adapter to the injector inlet, attach a can of injector cleaner, and run the tester to flush the injector while it's still on the engine.
Why It Works
Activate each injector individually while it's still on the engine — no need to pull the fuel rail to test injector operation.
Continuous, short, medium, and long pulse modes let you test injector response across different operating conditions.
The 4 included cleaning adapters connect to the injector inlet so you can flush it with cleaner fluid without pulling the injector out.
Connects directly to the vehicle's 12V battery via the included clamps — no separate power supply needed.

What customers love about it.
"My Corolla was idling rough and I suspected an injector. Used this tester and found one that wasn't clicking properly. Replaced just that one and the problem was sorted. Saved me replacing all four on a guess."
"Good tool. Used the cleaning adapters to flush the injectors on my Polo after a fuel system service. The tester itself is straightforward to use once you read the instructions. Cleaner fluid not included but that's expected."
"Use this in the workshop now for any fuel system complaint. Quick to connect, easy to use, and it gives you a definitive answer on whether the injector is opening or not. Saves a lot of unnecessary parts swapping."
Frequently Asked Questions
No — this tester is designed for petrol (gasoline) fuel injectors. Diesel injectors operate on a different principle and require specialist equipment.
No — injector cleaner fluid is not included. Use a compatible fuel injector cleaning fluid with the included cleaning adapters.
Short, medium, and long pulse modes control how long the injector stays open per pulse — useful for testing response at different simulated engine speeds. Continuous mode keeps the injector open for flushing with cleaner fluid.
A working injector will click audibly when pulsed and produce a consistent spray pattern. An injector that doesn't click, clicks weakly, or produces an uneven spray pattern may be faulty or dirty.
Diagnose Before You Replace.
Fuel injectors aren't cheap. The Vortek Fuel Injector Tester & Cleaner Kit gives you the information you need to make the right call — test first, replace only what's actually faulty, and clean the rest while you're at it.
